Are you linked in?

Trying to find employment or professional contacts in your new country? Get Linkedin! It's a free website that lets you create a profile and link up with professional aquaintances, as well as make new contacts. Your profile on this site reads similarly to your resume, so it’s the perfect site if you are trying to locate a job or new opportunities.

Expatriate Sébastien Deschamps has created a group on Linkedin just for expats called The Professional Expat Network for employees and job seekers alike. Deschamps explains, “The network is a supportive group to share expat-related experiences and give exposure to international careers and career opportunities. Come and join us!” This group is open to job seekers, expat service professionals, associations, relocation service providers and more, and currently has over 6,000 members. You can join the group here.
